Walk, Cycle Live Stirling

We have been actively discussing with Sustrans (the UK charity that aims to make it easier for people to walk and cycle) two key routes in Stirling City: one to University of Stirling and the other to Forth Valley College. See more at this link.

There is a strategic move by Stirling Council and Sustrans to significantly reduce cars from both these routes. Whilst this may be desirable, we have reminded them that cars can be vital for disabled people, as are other features like disabled parking provision, drop off points, dropped kerbs and proximity of accessible toilets.

Meetings will be ongoing into 2019. We will continue to monitor the project and to promote access for all.
