We are looking for a Volunteer Treasurer ! ...to help us with our straightforward book keeping...

Our small, committed charity works quietly but persistently to bring about improvement to access and inclusion that makes it easier for everyone to use local facilities and services.

Are you looking to put your financial management skills and experience to good use?  Do you have an interest in access, inclusive design, or disability-related issues for buildings, roads, or the countryside?  Or perhaps you would simply like to make a difference and give back to local communities throughout Stirlingshire?

The charity plays an important role in checking, guiding, and advising on physical access and wider social inclusion. We are also involved with planning applications for public buildings and spaces

SAAP is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO), has been operating since 2007, and everyone involved is a volunteer.

Membership of SAAP is open to everyone, not just those with disabilities.  The charity is led by a Board of (currently) four Trustees.

Some of our meetings can be held by Zoom, and we also have in person meetings, normally roughly every three months, held centrally in Stirling.

This position would be particularly suitable for someone with an accounting or bookkeeping background, or perhaps a retired person with accounting experience looking to volunteer a few hours a month.

We are a friendly bunch and look forward to hearing from you! Please get in touch via this website.
